Workout Report
Jan. 7th, 2006 09:47 amI've completed my fourth Yourself! Fitness workout. Each day has a "sub-focus" like cardio, core strength, upper body, lower body, flexibility, or weight loss. The last one I did was flexibility. Given that I am stiff as a board, I wasn't able to follow along very well, but I'll never get better unless I keep trying to improve. The only problem was, I didn't burn a whole lot of calories during that one *because* I wasn't able to keep up.
Today's focus was lower body strength, which I did better at, but my legs are definitely wobbly now.
If anyone's reading this and is curious about Yourself! Fitness, it's available for X-Box and PS2, and yes, it is effective! It's like having your own personal instructor come to your house and lead you through a customized workout. A lot cheaper and more convenient than joining a gym, but you do need a bit of space to do the workout. We push our couch back and have room for most of the exercises. A few we have to customize.
So that's my workout report. 4 of these plus some DDR and bike since after Christmas.
Edit: It also comes in a PC version.
