Radio in D.C. is going to suck even more
Dec. 9th, 2006 11:53 pmDan Snyder, owner of the Redskins, is buying WGMS, the only remaining classical station in the D.C. market, in order to use the frequency for a sports talk radio station. He's offered a lot of money for the station. The only way I can see this deal not happening is if the FCC steps in, and that's unlikely too. Even the PBS station stopped playing classical back in 2005. Time to investigate an iPod for the car...
