Other camera geeks...

Hey, all the other camera geeks that read my journal (which, granted, isn't that many), I'm thinking of a digital camera for my Mom for her birthday/Mother's Day (since they're one week apart). Any recommendations on a model that would be easy for her to use and not cost an arm and leg? She's not into artistic photography. She'd most likely use it for snapshots. And it would need to be easy to use (i.e., not a lot of complicated menus, etc.). She wouldn't want to spend the time to learn how to use it if it's too complicated.
