Just finished "Syberia"

I have to say, it was rather disappointing. The scenery was beautiful. It goes downhill from there. The main character was supposed to start out as a doormat of a woman who won't touch an "icky" wet boat oar and become empowered and get a spine, etc., but her character development via cell phone calls from her "best friend" and fiance "Dan" just came across as interfering in the story and annoying to listen to. Not that the story is any great shakes, either. It just sort of ends without resolving much. I think they want you to buy Syberia 2 to find out what happens, but I don't think I'll be spending that money.
